Human is human in any place at any time. Rude people make rude comments. Good Muslims don't look at them. For Allah ordered us in the Holly Qur'an to stop looking at women.
I do not accept when a man finds a woman attractive to comment upon some of the comments Is free, but is not free to comment on them, because in Islam demands that lower his eyes and walking in the street to look at women and the beauty of women, men must be polite as a woman have to be polite
Yes, there are some men stare at attractive women in the street, and this is not present in Cairo only, but really it is in everywhere the world. Any that does this may be he is a Muslim may be a Christian may be a Jew may be a Buddhist may be Mjusya may be he has not any religion. But the bad act comes from the bad man bad and in every place there are agood man and a bad man. the Arab and foreign films shows to you that because these films often reflect the reality of community.
Some of the men who stare at attractive women make rude comments. but Most of these men look at beautiful women do not make any bad comments and a small percentage in Cairo make bad comments. In fact, this varies according to how attractive this woman, if this woman is very beautiful and her dress is a very short or very narrow In this case,men will encourage to make bad comments,in addition it is possible they try to touch her. I know the story happened to a foreign woman of this type here in Cairo and i will say that to you.
She Is an attractive woman and a respectful, kindly , quiet But, unfortunately, she wears short skirts But at the same time talking with any person with respect and Literature. She went to visit one of her friends and waited in the street, and when some young saw her commented rude comments , and some of them tried to touch her. So,she called her friend to take them quickly. she and her husband -when he knew-were very irritable and very angry , and when I knew that i was sad because it is a respectable figure, but the problem as I have said that she wears short skirts.
First: For women's rights generally always the West talk about women's rights in Islam, some say: Islam has not given women all her rights as men. But I like to point out that Islam did not oppress women, but gave her all rights. women have the right in all types of education,they have the right to accept her husband and reject him, and they have the right to exercise all rights as men. But you must understand Words of God(the Holy Quran)and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, and discuss its issues with specialists,if you did that by Honesty and Neutrality you will realize that Islam gave women all the rights.
